The funeral procession is scheduled for July 16 at 7:40 a.m., after which Kang Seo Ha will be laid to rest at her family’s burial ground in Haman, Gyeongnam Province.
On July 13, a touching tribute video capturing heartfelt memories from Kang Seo Ha’s life was shared online by a person believed to be a family member. The emotional message read:
“I still can’t believe it, unnie. Even through your unbearable pain, you never stopped caring for others—or me. You hadn’t eaten for months, but you still used your own card to make sure I ate. My angel, taken too soon. Even as you lived on painkillers, you said you were thankful it wasn’t worse. I was ashamed of my complaints when you endured so much. You were so strong. I hope you’re now free of pain and at peace.”
Born in 1994, Kang Seo Ha was a graduate of the School of Drama at Korea National University of Arts. She made her first on-screen appearance in 2012 in the music video for Brave Guys’ “Getting Farther Away,” which marked the beginning of her acting career.
She went on to appear in numerous dramas, including “Schoolgirl Detectives,” “Assembly,” “First Love Again,” “Through the Waves,” “The Flower in Prison,” and “Heart Surgeons.” Recently, she completed filming her final work, “Mangnaein,” in which she played the lead role. The film is expected to be released posthumously.
Her quiet strength, resilience, and kind-hearted spirit left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.
Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences go out to Kang Seo Ha’s family, friends, and fans. May she find eternal peace.
